Puppies Health Guarantee

At Toy Poodle Pupies, we are deeply committed to the health, well-being, and happiness of every Poodle puppy we raise. We understand that bringing a new puppy into your family is a meaningful decision, and we want you to feel confident and supported every step of the way. That’s why we offer a comprehensive health guarantee policy that reflects our dedication to providing you with a healthy, well-adjusted puppy and our promise to stand by you in the unlikely event of any health concerns.

1. Vet Checked

Every Toy Poodle puppy undergoes a thorough veterinary examination by a licensed veterinarian before joining your family. This comprehensive health check helps assess your puppy’s overall physical condition and identify any visible health concerns. We prioritize the well-being of our puppies and take appropriate steps to ensure they are healthy and ready to become a beloved member of your home.

2. Vaccinated

To give your puppy the best possible start in life, we provide age-appropriate vaccinations before they go home. These vaccinations help protect your puppy from common illnesses and support their health as they continue to grow.

You’ll receive a detailed vaccination record outlining which vaccines your puppy has received and when upcoming boosters are due, so you can continue their care with confidence.

3. Dewormed

We take proactive measures to protect our puppies from intestinal parasites, which are common in young dogs. All puppies are dewormed according to an appropriate schedule, helping ensure they are healthy and prepared for their transition to their new homes.

Spay/Neuter

The puppy is being sold as a companion with no ANKC registration. Spay/neuter is done only when required by the buyer. Proof of the procedure must be provided to the seller within one month.

If the buyer fails to provide the seller with proof of a companion puppy’s spay/neuter procedure by the deadline, there will be a fine of $500.00 as a penalty for contract violation.

Ovary-sparing spay or vasectomy procedures are recommended if your veterinarian offers these hormone-preserving options. Hormones can play a role in growth and development, and discussing available options with your veterinarian can help you determine the most appropriate choice for your puppy.

4. Family Raised

Our puppies are raised in a loving, family-oriented environment where they receive regular care, attention, and affection. We believe that a nurturing home environment is important for raising well-adjusted puppies who are prepared to bond with their new families.

5. Socialized

From birth, our puppies are handled daily and raised in the heart of our home, allowing us to closely monitor them day and night. They grow up in a lively family environment and are exposed to a variety of household sounds, activities, and interactions with children.

Poodles are social dogs, and moving away from their mother, littermates, and familiar surroundings can be a significant adjustment. Some puppies may cry or bark, particularly at night, during their first few days in a new home. Every puppy is different, and the adjustment period can vary.

Please consider whether your living situation allows for some nighttime puppy crying before bringing a puppy home. This can be particularly important for families with sleeping babies or those living in apartments where noise may affect neighbors.

6. Kid-Friendly

We understand the importance of a puppy being comfortable around children, especially when joining a family with young members. Our puppies are raised in a home where they have opportunities to interact with children and become familiar with the energy and activity of family life.

These early experiences can help puppies become more comfortable around children and support positive interactions as they transition into their new homes.

1-Year Health Guarantee

At our family-owned business, we proudly stand behind the health and quality of our puppies. While we take appropriate precautions to ensure each puppy is healthy and thriving, we understand that unforeseen health issues can occasionally arise due to genetics or other factors.

For your peace of mind, we offer a 1-Year Health Guarantee that covers hereditary and congenital conditions.

What Is Covered?

Our health guarantee covers the following:

  • Hereditary Conditions: Health issues that are genetically inherited, such as hip dysplasia, heart defects, or certain eye conditions.

  • Congenital Conditions: Health problems present at birth, such as cleft palate or heart murmurs.

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses your puppy with a covered hereditary or congenital condition within one year of adoption, we will work with you to address the situation.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer one of the following:

  • Replacement Puppy: We will provide a replacement puppy of equal value, subject to availability.

  • Refund: A partial or full refund may be offered, depending on the severity of the condition and the circumstances.

  • Financial Assistance: In some cases, we may contribute toward the cost of veterinary treatment for the diagnosed condition.

What Is Not Covered?

Our health guarantee does not cover the following:

  • Non-genetic or acquired conditions: These include illnesses or injuries that occur after the puppy leaves our care, such as infections, injuries, or conditions caused by environmental factors, neglect, or improper care.

  • Routine veterinary expenses: This includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering, flea and tick prevention, and routine check-ups.

  • Conditions caused by owner negligence: This includes failure to follow recommended care guidelines, such as improper diet, lack of exercise, or exposure to harmful environments.

Claim Process

If you believe your puppy has a covered condition, please follow these steps:

  1. Notify Us Immediately: Contact us within 48 hours of the diagnosis to inform us of the issue.

  2. Provide Documentation: Submit a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian, including test results, X-rays, or other relevant medical records.

  3. Review and Resolution: We will review the documentation and work with you to determine the appropriate course of action.

Our Commitment to Responsible Breeding

We are committed to responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our puppies. We maintain high standards of care throughout each puppy’s development.

Our puppies receive:

  • Regular veterinary check-ups

  • Proper nutrition and exercise

  • Early socialization and enrichment

We also conduct genetic testing on our breeding dogs to help minimize the risk of hereditary conditions being passed on to their offspring.

Your Responsibilities as a Puppy Owner

To help ensure your puppy remains healthy and happy, we ask that you:

  • Schedule a Veterinary Check-Up: Take your puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adoption for a wellness exam.

  • Follow Vaccination and Deworming Schedules: Keep up with your puppy’s vaccination and deworming schedule as recommended by your veterinarian.
